After two years in Concord — the beautiful capital city of New Hampshire — Retro Matsuri is packing its bags and moving to Nashua. Why? Well, there’s a few reasons.

First off, you apparently live around there. More than 40% of our pre-registered attendees came from southern New Hampshire or eastern Massachusetts. Moving to Nashua should help them (and their friends!) come to Retro Matsuri. We won’t lie, getting a little closer to Boston also means Retro Matsuri becomes an easier day-trip or weekend trip for literally millions of people.

Our new home, the Event Center Nashua at the Courtyard by Marriott, is also conveniently located to dining and shopping, and we think you’re going to love that. Plus, its just as highway-accessible as our Concord venue was, with the added benefit of bus access. We think these changes are going to improve your experience.

That said, we know some people loved having a convention in little ol’ Concord. We loved it, too! We’re going to miss being in Concord (which remains where our office and storage are located) and we’re hoping to bring a smaller event to Concord this year to keep that spirit alive.
