What does "retro" mean?

Retro is a term that refers to things that display characteristics of the past. This might mean something genuinely old, like Space Invaders, or something that has a deliberately 'vintage' style, like Pizza Tower.

Retro Matsuri celebrates the anime and video games of the 1970s until 20 years ago (that's 2006 for this year), as well as modern games and anime that have a retro touch.
